Formula 1, la Ferrari conferma: "Schumi in pista a Barcellona"

MARANELLO (Modena) - La Ferrari ha confermato che Michael Schumacher sara' in pista il 13 e 14 novembre sul circuito di Montmelo', a Barcellona, come collaudatore: "Michael ha espresso il desiderio di farlo e noi abbiamo sempre detto che saremmo stati aperti a questa possibilita' se lui avesse voluto - ha detto il portavoce della scuderia di Maranello Luca Colajanni - Non c'e' nient'altro in programma, per noi la sua esperienza sara' importante". p.s. nei giorni scorsi ha girato con una Ducati da MotoGp ed ha staccato un tempo di soli 6,38 secondi superiore alla pole di Pedrosa

Si vedeva che non ce la faceva a stare lontano dalla guida di una F1... nelle poche gare alle quali ha assistito dal muretto, sembrava un bambino che guarda altri bambini giocare con i suoi giocattoli!!

Certo che il tempo con la MotoGP è niente male!

Ha cronometrato Uccio, così consola Rossi dicendogli che veramente anche le capre vanno forte con la Ducati e le Bridgestone

p.s. è una battuta, non partiamo in 4a con le difese di Rossi eh........

Tarvos ha detto che "ha girato", mica "dove", magari ga fatto 300 metri, 6 secondi di distacco in 300 metri non è male

So the times would have even gone down further had he been riding with different brakes. It was a pleasure and a surprise. Of course, I don't know if it would be possible (for him) to be pulling out these last seconds to go as fast as the MotoGP riders. In any case, he's shown the speed is in his blood. Schumacher: ''Have I been doing so well ? Thanks but it was only a day of fun and when there's a bike for me to drive around with it's always ok. It was a great excitement because when you go fast on two wheels it's different than when you're in a car. When you make a mistake on a bike and you loose control there's no chassis to protect you. I've pushed because I like it. There was no time I was aiming for but the first time I tried out the bike at Mugello I was 15 seconds slower than the fastest ones. Here I wanted to be within 10 seconds and at the end I've even done better.

''I din't really change the set-up, I only asked for some minor changes to make me feel more comfortable. It was also a pleasure to also ride behind Mamola, who told me where I made mistakes. Randy and I are good friends, he has given me a lot of advice and always taught me some tricks. Having him on my side was a real help.''

''To me, this 800 (bike) seems a lot easier to drive than the 900, but don't ask me if I intend to race in MotoGP with a wildcard. I'm 38 you know...I'm happy to be out of F1, especially looking at all what happened this year. The nice things is that I don't have to explain anything to anyone, I don't have to comment.''
