It's a valet's worst nightmare; accidentally damaging a customer's car. Now imagine that automobile being a super-expensive Italian exotic like the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder – you wouldn't want to be in those shoes, would you now...

The nightmarish scenario came true for Arun Kumar, a valet working at the five-star hotel Le Meridian in New Delhi, India, on July 3, 2014, when he tried to move the open-top Gallardo owned by local a businessman named Abid Fateh Mohmmed Khatri.

According to the Times of India (TOI), "the valet appeared to have lost control of the car while bringing it to the porch, rammed into a stationary car, pushed it aside and caromed into the concrete railing of the rampart".

A hotel spokesman told the new site that Kumar sustained some injuries.

One of Lamborghini owner's friends, Nipun Mglani, said that Khatri was travelling outside India and his cousins drove the car to the hotel.

"The car had been parked by valets a number of times before. Even that afternoon, the valet took the car to the parking safely and even brought it back to the porch area without any hassles," Nipun told TOI. "But suddenly he lost control, missed another valet by a whisker before hitting it head on into the railing."

Nipun added that a complaint was filed against valet Arun Kumar and Le Meridien hotel with the police.

The Gallardo Spyder, which costs some Rs 3 crore or close to $500,000 in India, is said to have sustained damages of around Rs 2 crore or about $325,000.

The oldest version of the video that we could find online dates back a little over a month ago on May 24, 2014, and it shows three young men having a great time with the California's top down on the streets of Ferrari's hometown.

It all went sour at the 3:25 minute mark when the bombastic driver applied too much pressure on the gas pedal while turning into a side street, and well, the car that still had the driver's seat covered in red cloth, received a different kind of facelift than the California T...

vero io ci passo spesso di li (è la zona tra il circuito di fiorano e il museo), ho clienti in zona, vedi ste rosse sfrecciare guidate da turisti (quasi tutti stranieri).
