Škoda Auto presents the first official photographs of its new Škoda Octavia RS, offered as a saloon and an estate car.


The Octavia RS features extraordinary dynamics provided by a 2.0 TFSI turbo direct injection engine developing 147 kW (200 PS) and a torque of 280 N.m at 1800 to 5000 rpm. Škoda’s fastest and most powerful production car shows 0-100 kph acceleration time of just 7.3 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 240 kph (the estate version achieves 0-100 kph acceleration time of 7.5 s and a maximum speed of 238 kph).


The RS models are exclusively offered in a new “Race Blue” metallic paint, which will later be augmented with another exclusive “Sprint Yellow” paint. There are more colours: “Corrida Red”, “Diamond Silver” and “Black Magic”.


The new Škoda Octavia RS as another model line follows in the footsteps of its successful predecessor.


The new Škoda Octavia RS will make its first world public appearance at this year’s International Motor Show in Frankfurt (IAA).
