Mi piacerebbe leggere le motivazioni, ma sul sito ancora non c'è nulla

For those of you who haven't read this review, basically Autocar said that they found the RS4 to have slightly more kick and response from it's engine though the M3's was slightly better closer to the red line. The RS4 also had the better steering feel where as they thought the M3's steering to be lacking in feel leaving them with little impression as to what the front wheels were doing (sounds like a role reversal to me from a few years ago,  ). The RS4 also have the better gear change and clutch action and was also the one which give the most confidence when pushed down a unfamiliar road (haven't we all not been saying as much to BMW owners for years now  ). The RS4 lost out to the M3 on ride quality, this was a hollow victory because though the RS4's ride was a little firmer it wasn't uncomfortable and it was the one which had more control over undulations (again this sounds like another role reversal) making it the more enjoyable drive.

Though all of the above were only won by the slightest of margins but when combined to together, especially with the fact the Audi was the more practical buy and the more aggressive looking, the win was a landslide. It isolation the new M3 is an amazing piece of kit but it's not the major improvement that so many people expected and as proven, not an improvement over the aging RS4.

non so bene i dati dei motori ma di solito gli M girano a regimi da moto quindi non stupisce che sotto giri meno di altri....

per lo sterzo però...boh

ma non c'è l'active steering sulla M?...o Bmw lo sta abbandonando....ne parlavano tanto bene riviste e tv

Sullo sterzo non è che poi mi stupisca più di tanto, le sospensioni anteriori BMW sono Mc Pherson 

no, tutte le M hanno sempre sterzo idraulico classico, niente active steering, proprio per incrementare il feeling e avere meno filtraggio elettronico...

...altrimenti il quinto (sesto? Settimo?) gli toccerebbe chiamarlo Valter...
